Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan is officially open! We were delighted to welcome the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD, Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Aidan Henchy and other local politicians, families and friends to celebrate the occasion. The most distinguished guests of all were the residents of Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan who played a key role on the day.

We greatly appreciate the outstanding care and love given to Ellen from the management and staff of Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan, who treated our mother like she was their own. To all the carers, especially Lorna Evans, Lorna Foley, Tina, John, Theresa, Jelena, Leonard, Lisa, and your amazing colleagues that we don't know their names, you are all angels and our second family! To the kitchen staff, administration, management, cleaning and laundry staff, it amazed me that you all got to know our mother on first name basis, and you all, each and every one of you helped mam live whilst in Moorehall. To the Grant & Doherty Family who always had time for mam whilst visiting their own loved ones.

To all the carers, nurses, staff in Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan I just gotta say that you all take my breath away!! As soon as I walk in the door my heart pops. The care, love and respect they have for our loved ones that are struggling to hang on. I have an open heart and it's broken but it's a beautiful feeling to be around amazing men and women that have hearts of pure love working so hard to care. I've learned so much about life the day I settled my Ma in Moorehall Lodge. I wanted to take her back home but she is so happy with real live angels giving so much love to her....it's deadly cause I can spend so much time with her but bless them they have the hard work. Thank you Moorehall Lodge I'm so grateful.
